Smoked Wild Salmon Cannery Project for California’s  Yurok Tribe— Kickstarter

The confluence of the Yakama and Trinity rivers deep in California’s northern mountains is home to the Hupa and Yurok peoples. Despite environmental and cultural damage to the river and Indigenous American communities, there is enough natural bounty that Yurok people want to start offering products canned and smoked (with FDA approval) from the salmon found in the streams. You can help support this project with a contribution to a unique crowd-sourcing campaign.
