#Twitter/Arab Spring: New Evidence from The #Monkey Cage and wherefore #bit.ly?

Twitter and the Arab Spring: New Evidence — The Monkey Cage.

Again, the irony that bit.ly, the ubiquitous URL shortener is TLD based in Libya. Anyway, as PR for uprisings, Monkey’s piece indicates Twitter is all good. For tactical networking among the anti-oppressed, not so much.

My take is the system of a mail-in blog post (like I often do here and at several others I run) and an auto-post to Twitter and Facebook is most mobile – just use those hashes (#) in the title.
