Updated May 16, 2014

An item in today’s Washington Post by Rajiv Chandrasekaran refreshes our thoughts on the fraught Afghan scene. Recent release, “The Wrong Enemy” by Carlotta Gaul  sheds a bright (if unwelcome in some circles) light on the doomed American adventure in Afghanistan and the dark role “ally”  Pakistan has played in the debacle.
